These days, so many of the things we buy are produced in large factories, often overseas. And so many of the businesses in our community are part of a huge corporate behemoth. Since we first opened our doors in 1979, Kenny Hawkins Automotive has been locally owned and operated. When you “shop local” a much larger percentage of the money you spend stays right here in our community.

Family Operated.

Kenny Hawkins founded and incorporated the business in 1979, driven by his passion for automobiles and a genuine love for working with people. Forty-six years later, the shop remains proudly family-operated. Today, Kenny’s brother Gary, along with his sons Chris and Jackson—who share his enthusiasm for cars—play key roles in the day-to-day operations. Thanks to low employee turnover, the team feels more like a family. In fact, several of the technicians have been with the company for over 25 years.

Community Focused.

We care about the community where we live and work. We are long time members of the Porsche Club and Viper Club of America. We are also proud sponsors of West Raleigh Little League Baseball for more than 15 years.
