  • Why should I choose Kenny Hawkins Automotive for my collision repairs?

    Kennyy Hawkins is a locally owned family business that has been in operation for over 40 years. Kenny is still a main stay in the office every day to make sure we are exceeding his expectations in both quality and customer service.

  • I want Kenny Hawkins to fix my car but my insurance says they do not work directly with you or guarantee the repairs.

    Kenny Hawkins Automotive has a lifetime warranty on all of our paint and body work. While we do not give discounts or influence on repairs to insurance carriers to “be on their preferred lists”, we do work with every and all insurance carriers on behalf of our customers to help facilitate a quality repair. By not being on a preferred list it lets Kenny Hawkins work for you the customer, and we are able to advocate in your best interest. At preferred shop the insurance is the customer and the vehicle owner is secondary. Insurance partners are rated on severity and turn time which means they are encouraged to keep repairs as cheap as possible while getting them out quickly as well. We take our time and get your car repaired properly the first time.

  • I have been in an accident and have body damage and mechanical damage do I need to go to multiple shops to have my car fixed?

    We have the mechanical experience to do a good amount of mechanical work needed to restore most cars to pre loss condition. Our office staff is highly trained and experienced in coordinating any repairs needed with the proper vendors and shops to get your car back to 100% before you pick it up. Whether we have a specialist come in to do a paintless dent repair, replace a pinstripe or even paint protection film, or have to bring it for an alignment, additional mechanical work, or transporting it to the dealership to make sure all the complex safety systems are working properly we make sure to handle it and provide proper documentation to the insurance company for reimbursement as part of your claim.

  • Internet searches show Kenny Hawkins prices to be above average. What am I getting for the extra money?

    We have a highly trained well paid staff. All of our technicians have over 25 years of paint and body, and office experience so they are very well rounded in not just fixing your car but the entire process and have empathy and understanding for what the customer is going through during the repair process. Our materials used during the repairs are also top of the line. We use 3m and SEM materials that are purchased fresh per job. While we are not perfect, we have every resource available to give you the best quality repair and stand behind our warranty. If you have any issues after you pick up your car all you have to do is call and we will get it straightened out ASAP.

  • What type of paint do you use?

    We use Glasurit paint. This is the highest quality automotive paint sold by BASF. We mix all of our paint inhouse. First we take a digital scan of the paint on your car and put it in our software. Then we enter the factory paint code and it uses the oem formula and adjusts for wear and age to get the best color match possible. This tool is new for 2025 so it is state of the art.

  • I can not make it during your business hours. Do you have a way to pick and drop off after hours?

    We have a key drop right next to the front door. Just fill out the envelope and put it through and we will call you when we come in and retrieve the keys. We also offer lock outs once the bill is paid if you can not make it to pick up during business hours.
